Description:

Le musée posséde deux lots identiques de trente et une images de P. Emonds, sur la maison de Saint-Lazare (CARPH014547/1 à CARPH014577/2). Cette photo fait partie d'un des deux lots. Tirage contrecollé sur montage ancien, le tout monté en 60 x 50 cm.

Marques, inscriptions, poinçons: Inscription concernant le titre - Au recto, sur le carton en bas à droite, manuscrit à l'encre noire : "Maison de St Lazare. Salle d'Infirmerie - Nº957 - B.70 - Juillet 1888.". \ Inscription à l'encre

Timbre sec - Au recto, sur le carton en bas au centre, tampon sec : "PHOTOGRAPHIE / P. EMONDS / R. du Four St Germain, 9 / PARIS". \ Inscription à l'encre Tampon - Au recto, sur le carton en bas à droite, tampon à l'encre rouge : "VILLE / DE / PARIS". Inscription - Au recto, sur le carton en bas à gauche manuscrit au crayon : "19".

Description iconographique:

Prison de Saint-Lazare, rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis (10ème arrondissement). Salle d'infirmerie. Succession de lits de part et d'autre d'une allée centrale avec au premier plan un poêle et au fond un petit autel dédié à la Vierge, sur lequel est écrit : ".... DAME / ....on Secours". (Double de la photo CARPH014565/2 mais tirage moins contrasté). Commentaire historique:

L'auteur, avec les deux lots identiques d'images concernant la maison de Saint-Lazare (CARPH014547/1 à CARPH014577/2), a donné une liste qui indique les titres, les dates et les numéros attribués aux photos.
