An escutcheon surrounded by many animals, statues of Diana and another huntress, two hunters and the coat of arms of the Medici with spears and horns, contains the text beginning: "COSMVS MED. MAGN: ETRVRIAE" and ending with : "Johannes Stradensis Flanfrius inuen. Philippus Galle Sculp. et exud:/1578." Bottom center: Ad Lectorem. Framing lines, bottom: Exornant aulasque aulea parentis Hetrusci, Pluribid exemplis his tibi lector habe."
