Principle of image formation on the retina of an eye

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Principle of formation of the image of an object on the retina (which serves as a screen) in a normal eye, according to the principle of the optical lens: a sharp image is formed at the back of the eye, at least in the center of the retina. The pupil, which acts as a diaphragm and regulates the amount of light entering the eye, is not shown. The image of the object is reversed: bottom becomes top, right becomes left and vice versa. Sunlight is white in reality, it is formed from the colors of the rainbow, and only the color that is not absorbed by the object is reflected back to the eye and appears to be the color of the object.
