Summary

[edit]
Description
English: In 1893 this land was occupied by Dingle Farm and the streets in this area were built between then and 1900, when 94 & 96 were listed as the Princess Laundry, and No. 92 (Shiraz Nails) was occupied by Robert Donnelly, a confectioner. The steam laundry at 94 & 96 was damaged by an incendiary bomb in the blitz of 30th September 1940, and in 1941 became Wrigley's Laundry. By 1958 the premises had been taken over by Smyth's Removals and more recently it was Remar Charity Shop until a murder on the premises forced closure. No. 96, on the corner of Errol Street, is now a fast food outlet.
