Summary
[edit]DescriptionPrinces Risborough, Princes Estate railway bridge - geograph.org.uk - 749445.jpg |
English: Princes Risborough: Princes Estate railway bridge The bridge, which is called Jaques on the Strategic Rail Authority's notice board, takes the former railway line to Oxford and Watlington from Princes Risborough over the access road to the estate. Double railway lines are still in situ over the bridge although the line is ostensibly closed. However the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway, whose train journeys currently stop about 800 metres to the west (or to the left in this photograph), hope to use this track to eventually reach Princes Risborough main line railway station (about 600 metres to the right in this photograph). |
