| Description |
English: Princes Drive Sewage Pumping Station This old building has now gone despite local attempts to save it. The tall building originally house beam engines and the columns that supported the entablature are at the entrance to Blists Hill open Air Museum, Madeley and the entablature is on the floor by the car park at the Museum of Iron, Coalbrookdale. The beam engine house latterly contained a steam generating set that is on display at Snibston. The lean to housed a James Simpson & Co non-rotative triple expansion duplex pump. This is in store at Crossness Pumping Station. |
