Summary

[edit]
Description

English: Primary cave within a huge Travertine sedimentation, discovered when quarrying hat not yet been quitted, valley of river Bära in “Ensisheim”, West Swabian Alb.
”Secondary” limestone sedimentation, as chemically precipitated from karstwater, always contains cracks and joints, which may, after thousand of years, even grow to become open and finally closed cavities. The photo is a detail of: Image:Kalktuffbarre_Ensisheim-Baeratal_Schwaebische-Alb.jpg.
