Summary
[edit]DescriptionPriestfield railway station (geograph 3257676).jpg |
English: Priestfield railway station This was taken in March 1993 on the site of the old railway station in Priestfield near Bilston. The station was on the junction of the Great Western main line between Wolverhampton Low Level and Birmingham Snow Hill and the former West Midlands Railway to Dudley. The Great Western line curves off to the left, while the West Midlands line goes off into the centre background. The Midland Metro now occupies the former GWR trackbed, while the Dudley line has completely disappeared, other than a few tell tale signs noticed only by old railway spotters.
