Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This statue of Priapus is from a small cubicle leading off from the kitchen, one of the service rooms of the house. He has a large phallus with a hole running through it. This indicates that the statue was most probably originally in the garden of the House of the Vettii and was used as a fountain. Also found in this room were erotic paintings.
