"Pair of period portraits of Louis XV and Marie Leszczynska (presumed of)" |
|||||||
Description |
"Portrait Of Louis XV And Marie Leszczynska King And Queen Of France Eighteenth 18th Century" Portrait of Louis XV and Marie Leszczynska King and Queen of France HST 18th century These period portraits were used as diplomatic gifts, but were also commissioned by the nobility to prove admiration and devotion to the King. Like most paintings of that time, they are not signed to my knowledge. Of great quality, there is certainly a beautiful discovery to make for the one who will know to whom to attribute it. |
