Description
English: At a ceremony that took place at the Mauser Estate between Remagen and Honnef after 3rd Armored Division had completed the Rhine crossing. A Presidential Unit Citation was awarded to 3AD Division Headquarters for its action during the Battle of Mons and was presented to Spearhead Commander Maurice Rose (at right). From left are Lt. Gen. Courtney H. Hodges (First Army Commander) and Lt. Gen. J. Lawton Collins (7th Corps Commander).
