President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. The Head of State thanked the interlocutor for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for the humanitarian assistance provided by India to our country. The President noted the continuous dialogue between the two countries at various levels, in particular, on the support of the Ukrainian Peace Formula. Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked for the active participation of Indian representatives in meetings at the level of national security and foreign policy advisors and emphasized the importance of India's participation in the inaugural peace summit, which is being prepared in Switzerland. The President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of India discussed the development of bilateral relations, one of the elements of which should be a meeting of the teams and a session of the Intergovernmental Ukraine-India Cooperation Commission in New Delhi in the near future. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized Ukraine's interest in strengthening trade and economic relations with India. According to him, the most promising areas are agricultural exports, in particular sunflower oil, cooperation in the aviation industry, and trade in pharmaceuticals and industrial products. Ukraine will also welcome the return of Indian students to Ukrainian educational institutions, the Head of State noted.. |
