| Description |
English: Routemaster bus RCL2223 (CUV 223C), pictured at a charity bus rally held at Hounslow bus garage in 2000. Despite its red colour, this bus was originaly a Routemaster coach, delivered to London Transport's Green Line express division in 1965, in their dark green livery. It passed to London Country Bus Services in 1970 who downgraded it to a bus in 1972. In 1977 it was bought back by London Transport, who converted it to a bus in 1980 for use on route 149. It was withdrawn in 1984 and since then has has several private uses, mainly as a hospitality vehicle. |
