[edit]
Description D510PPU has recently entered preservation after leading an interesting life in Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. It was one of just three low height, full length ECW coach type Leyland Olympians built for the UK- Eastern National took three to add to their City Commuter fleet. The coach has received several modifications over the years, the Leyland TL11 engine has been replaced by a Gardner 6XLB, opening windows have been added to supplement ventilation, the front headlight and side light units have been modified and the destination equipment has been removed and the space plated over. This coach is now re-registered PLZ2876 and work has started to restore the coach.
