Summary
[edit]DescriptionPreserved Metropolitan Transit Corp. bus 2962 in Bothell in 1985.jpg | Preserved Metropolitan Transit Corporation bus 2962 at the entrance to Bothell Park & Ride in 1985, when its restoration had only recently been completed. A GM TDH-4512 built in 1959, No. 2962 was inherited by Metro Transit (part of the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle, not yet of King County) in 1973 and renumbered 472 in Metro's fleet. It was retired from service in 1981, and was later restored to its old paint scheme and number by volunteers from the Metro Employees Historic Vehicle Association (MEHVA). |
