Summary

[edit]
Description The new DC circulator bus runs two routes across the city center. I didn't see any of these pay & display meters for paying the fare (or for parking), but it's an interesting way of prepaying fares without a dedicated right of way or dedicated equipment. (Supposedly, the driver looks in the mirror to verify the fare, and random fare checks occur.) The low floor buses also have three sets of doors for easy flow.
