Description
English: In this photo from August 2020, engineers and techs prep the James Webb Space Telescope for the environmental testing it underwent this fall. This testing, designed to mimic the sound and vibration the telescope will experience during launch, was successfully completed in early October 2020.

Here the sunshield is carefully folded in preparation for stowing the telescope into its launch configuration.
