Description
Italiano: Il Premio Civiltà dei Marsi è una scultura artistica in bronzo, realizzata e cesellata a mano.

Riproduce alcuni atavici simboli della terra marsicana ed abruzzese: la chimera , ovvero l’uccello che secondo la leggenda, volava sulle acque del Lago Fucino e il disco-corazza. Quest’ultimo in particolare, è rinvenuto proprio nell’area archeologica di Alba Fucens e fu utilizzato dai Marsi oltre 2000 anni fa per combattere e ottenere dai romani l’ambita

cittadinanza e quindi, l’autonomia, il rispetto e la pari dignità di cives.
