English: Pre Rup is the state temple of Rajendravarman, 944-968. The temple's name is pronounced "PRY ROOP" ("OO" as in "loop"). This is a photo of the west face of the temple. The outer enclosure wall is constructed of laterite, with contrasting sandstone used for the windows and gate. Beyond the enclosure, a high central platform supports the five brick towers.
