What's this?

It was an emergency power control unit for a <a href="http://computer-history.info/Page4.dir/pages/CDC.7600.dir/images/CDC7600.jpg" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Control Data Corporation CDC7600 mainframe</a>, the first in the UK. It was installed at The University of Manchester in the early 1970s.

Arteth has salvaged it, stripped out the contents, and turned it into a knitting box. A knitting box with Big Buttons.
