Title
English: Powderhorn Lichen, Cladonia coniocraea
Description
English:

Small green, fern-like tendrils curl up on each other in hollowed out spot.

Powder horn lichen can be found in Asia, Europe, and North America and grows on rotting wood. It is pollution resistant, so it can grow in urban areas. Some lichens are very sensitive and can be good environmental indicators, but the common powder horn lichen is not one of them.
