| Description |
English: Pounds Scrapyard, Tipner A pair of subs on the left probably straddle the easting into the next square. The retired steam cable layer St Margarets in the background is moored off in the next square east. The M275 bridge is just visible astern of St Margarets.
Pounds is being cleared with a view to redevelopment. This impressive pile of ex military equipment has greeted visitors to Portsmouth for many years but it will soon be history. |
