Précisions sur l'utilisation Le pot canon est un récipient à usage pharmaceutique qui repose souvent sur un piédouche. Ce pot, apparu au cours du XVIIe siècle, contenait généralement des mélanges de corps gras et de substances résineuses : baumes, onguents, remèdes à base de miel ou de sirop (opiats et électuaires).
