Description
English: Small fragment of a cast copper alloy spectacle buckle frame dating from the post-medieval period, i.e. c AD1500-1800. Only about a quarter of the frame survives; most of the loops and the central axis bar as well as the pin are missing. The frame has a D-shaped cross section and was decorated at each end with a moulded ornament resembling foliage.
