Postmedieval asymmetrical buckle frame
Description
English: A post medieval copper alloy buckle frame. The buckle is asymmetrical in plan- one end is straight whilst the other is rounded and terminates in a point. there is a central integral strap bar. The buckle probably dates to c. AD 1575 - 1700. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead (2003) p 91, number 567.
