Poster, printed, black and red, providing information about venereal diseases, inscription at top in black 'County Borough of Salford', underneath in red 'Venereal diseases', symptoms of Gonorrhoea and Syphilis given in black, 'How to get cured' in red, lists hospitals, addresses and opening times in black, 'Prevention' in red, 'The Golden rule for keeping free from these horrible diseases, which poison the blood and may ruin your health and wreck your future happiness is this: 'Continence before marriage and faithfulness afterwards'. Remember! Sexual intercourse is not necessary to health or vigour. Avoid all sources of temptation - 'loose' women and girls, doubtful companions, 'smutty' talk, obscene pictures, 'drink' Young men! Think of your future as well as the present. Take care of your health - your greatest possession. Earn self-respect instead of long-life regrets. 'Play the game' and help raise the standard of honour in sex matters.' in black.
