DescriptionPostcard from Ed C Telford to J lynch (12827843095).jpg |
English: This postcard is part of a collection of correspondence sent from Irish migrant Edward C Telford to his friend John Lynch in Liverpool, England. They were sent from Melbourne and Mildura between 1914 and 1915 and reflect Edward Telford's first impressions of Australia, where "the weather is fearfully hot 107 in the shade today." Handwritten text on the reverse of this postcard reads: 'My Dear Pal, Please accept this postcard [?] from one chum to another with my compliments. Yours Truly Ed C Telford in Australia'.
