Post medieval silver ring brooch
Description
English: Post medieval silver ring brooch, 26mm in diameter and 3.5mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 1.89grams. It is slightly domed and is decorated with simple incised borders at each edge on its outer side. These is a small circular hole to accomodate the pin. The underside is stamped with a lion passant (for sterling which dates it to after 1544) and possible makers initials CM?
