Title
Post medieval dress pin
Description
English: A cast copper alloy head of a probably dress or hair pin dating to the post medeival to modern period (c.AD 1700-1850).

The object is flat and sub-triangular in shape with a lobe on one side which would have connected to the pin. An intricate design has been stamped into the plate metal, consisting of three six petalled flowers surrounded by eight smaller circular, dotted devices. The edges of the object are also decorated with impressed dots or circles.

The object has an overall gold colour with light brown and green patina in places.
