Post medieval double loop trapezoidal buckle
Description
English: Post medieval buckle; incomplete cast copper alloy trapezoidal, double loop buckle of mid-17th century date (c.1620-1680). The buckle has a pointed end to the loop and an ovoid knop at either corner, with an incised dot in the centre of each knop. The pointed end has a notch to receive the pin. There are moulded knops at each end of the narrowed pin bar. The second loop is now missing, as is the pin.

Length 24.4mm, width 21.8mm, thickness 2.4mm, weight 3.72g
