Post medieval asymmetrical double loop buckle
Description
English: Post medieval buckle; cast copper alloy asymmetrical buckle frame with integral pin bar, dating from the period c.1575-1700. The buckle has one trapezoidal loop and one D-shaped loop with a pin bar across the centre of the frame. There is a small, rounded knop at either ‘corner’ of the D-shaped loop and the back edge of the trapezoidal loop is decorated with 6 moulded lobes.

Length 23.4mm, width 18.8mm, thickness 3.0mm, weight: 2.21g
