Post medieval asymmetrical, double looped buckle
Description
English: Post Medieval buckle; cast copper alloy, double loop, asymmetrical buckle of probable 16th or 17th century date. The back loop is a slightly flared rectangle and the front loop is semi-circular. The buckle then has a decorative terminal, which is pierced with open-work decoration in the form of a central heart flanked by two circles. The pin is missing. The buckle is now bent upwards at the pin bar.

Length 34.23mm, width (at heart) 18.84mm, width (at back end) 18.36mm, thickness 2.02mm, weight 3.92g
