Post medieval: Leather shoe
Description
English: A latchet fastening shoe with a pointed toed vamp and long quarters, tying across the instep through a single pair of lace holes in a pair of narrow latchets. The sole does not appear to have had a heel. The shoe also appears to be straight, that is made neither for the left or the right foot.

The shoe is likely to date to around the first quarter of the 19th century.
