Post Medieval lion seal matrix
Description
English: Post medieval copper alloy seal matrix of 17th century AD, also known as a 'fob seal'. The seal is oval in shape extending up to a trefoil suspension loop above a lateral line.

The matrix is of a lion facing to the right hand side with an incised line around the oval edge of the matrix.

The seal is 27mm in height and 16x13mm in diameter. It weighs 4.6g.
