Title
Post Medieval fob seal- DUR-5FFEA4
Description
English: Cast copper alloy Post Medieval fob seal, mostly likely 19th century in date.

It is made completely of copper alloy, with the seal section being just a flat oval disc of copper alloy (measuring 17.49mm by 14.84mm). The symbol on the seal is a masonic symbol, The Square, Compasses and Letter 'G'. This is one of the most common symbols of the Freemasons. There are varying theories as to what it represents.

The arms of the seal form a robust openwork design with floriate decoration, terminating in a circular attachment loop, set perpendicular to the seal.
