Post Medieval coin or apothecaries weight
Description
English: A cast copper alloy weight: possibly a coin weight or an apothecaries weight.

The weight is sub-square in plan and slightly a truncated pyramid in profile its upper surface being slightly narrower and shorter than the lower surface. The lower surface has a slightly circular depression whose diameter is just smaller than the width of the object. The weight is too worn to make out any designs on either surface. The weight has a dark brown patina.

The weight is 14.7mm long, 14.4mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 3.80 grams (58.6 grains).
