Post Medieval S-shaped strap fitting
Description
English: A copper alloy S-shaped strap fitting. Each terminal of the S is cast in the form of an animal head; one has the appearance of a swan and the other is more like a dog. The eyes are cast pellets and the lower jaws are cearly delineated. The mid point is decorated with a moulded relief design of a diagonal cross with three horizontal girth bands around.
