Post Medieval Double Loop Sub-Rectangular Buckle
Description
English: An incomplete copper alloy Post Medieval (1600-1800) double loop sub-rectangular buckle, missing its pin and buckle plate. Overall, it measures 41.10mm long, 29.55mm wide and 3.80mm thick. It weighs 7.94g. The internal measurements of the loops are 10.35mm in length and 16.05 in width. The frame curves backward at the ends and the sides so that the reverse is concave. The central strap bar is square in section. There is no visible decoration.
