Description |
English: An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper-alloy buckle, dating from c. AD 1575-1700. The remains consist of a double loop asymmetrical buckle frame with recessed, narrowed strap bar. There is a decorative groove following the perimeter of both outer edges of the frame. The pin is missing. It measures 38.2 mm long, 27 mm wide, 2.9 mm thick and weighs 5.9 grams.Cf.
