Description |
English: An incomplete, cast copper alloy buckle of Post Medieval date. The artefact consists of the buckle frame, which is subrectangular and a single loop. The frame is quarter rounded on its outer face, with slightly concave sides, and single lobed knop. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed. The buckle as an evenly developed mid green patina.
It measures 25.omm long by 23.8 wide, and is 3.2 mm thick. It weighs 3.22g. |
