Post Medieval: Trilobed blue glass bead
Description
English: A complete blown / hand made trilobed blue glass bead, of Modern dating (19th to 20th Centuries AD).

It has been made from a blue/white variegated (stripy) glass, with small central perforation. The bead is trilobed in plan, with rounded flanges.

The bead measures 14.60mm tall, and 13.23mm wide. The central perforation has an internal diameter of 1.31mm. It weighs 2.7 grams.

The shape of the bead is characteristic of the Art Deco style, which started during the mid 19th Century and carried on in popularity until around the 1960s.
