Description
English: An incomplete copper alloy asymmetrical buckle frame of Post Medieval dating (AD 1660 to AD 1720).

The buckle frame consists of one rectangular loop and one D shaped loop. It has been drilled for a separate spindle. The spindle is missing. Rounded lLobed knops are present on the external corners of the straight side. Along the straight edge, a row of dots are present. The straight edge has been recessed for the plate. 3 lobed knops are present over each of the spindle holes. The rounded edge has been decorated with a series of diagonal grooves.

It measures 25.2 mm in length, 18.2 mm wide and 3.7 mm thick. It weighs 3.5 g.
