English: A complete lead weight dating to the between the Roman and late post-medieval periods, (c. AD 43-1800). The weight is cylindrical in shape, with a shallow, circular indentation at one end, and a small rough projection on the other. The surface is smooth and relatively unmarked. Though it is unclear precisely when this weight was made, it roughly corresponds to a quarter Roman pound, or libra.
