Title
Post-medieval toy: Toy fish
Description
English:

A complete Post-Medieval or early modern lead alloy toy in the form of a fish. The mouth, eye and scales are crudely depicted by squared indentations for scale, a simple dot for the eye and a score in the front end of the toy to represent the mount. The tail is complete but is undecorated. The reverse is flat and undecorated. Possibly a novelty from a cracker, or a piece from a children's game. Suggested date: Post-Medieval to Modern, 1700-1950.
