Post-medieval spur terminal
Description
English: A fragment of a spur, comprising the figure of eight terminal and part of the side, dating to the post-medieval period (c. AD 1650-1750). The fragment is D-shaped in section, 26.93mm long and 6.28mm deep. Both of the loops on the figure of eight terminal are incomplete. 

Nearby finds include a spur fragment (including rowel box and side) which matches the thickness of this object (<a href="https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/991984">DENO-BFFD8C</a>), and a small, complete hook attachment (<a href="https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/992000">DENO-C11FC7</a>), both dating to the same period and possibly comprising pieces of the same spur set.
