Post-medieval skillet leg
Description
English: A cast copper-alloy broken foot from a post-medieval skillet, dating from the 16th or 17th centuries. The leg is trefoil in section with a flat reverse and moulded decoration on the front comprising five vertical ribs. Above the ribs there is a horizontal collar, and above this there is a central vertical rib. The foot has a worn green/grey patina. It measures 49.16 mm long, 29.66 mm wide, 17.6 mm thick and weighs 93.4 grams.
