English: A complete copper alloy pipe tamper, dating from post-medieval to modern period (c. AD 1500-1900). The object is undecorated with a simple shaft 15.1mm in length, ending in a circular suspension loop 4.6mm wide at one end, and the flat faced tamper at the other. The tamper extends from the shaft with rounded sides. |
