Title
Post-medieval gold finger ring
Description
English: A small gold posy-ring. The ring has a narrow band, D-shaped in cross-section and is inscribed on the interior with the motto 'KEPE+PROMIS'. The exterior is decorated with a repeated series of circular and lozenge shaped cells joined by a line with a pellet above and below. Where the join was probably made there are two circular cells next to each other. Each circular cell contains a pierced rosette whereas each lozenge cell contains a small lozenge. White and black enamel remain in some of the cells.
