Description
English: A worn and clipped shilling of Charles I (AD 1625-49) issued between AD 1640-1. The coin has been double-struck. Tower mint, star initial mark. North, 1994(2): p. 160, no. 2231.

Obv: Crowned bust left with XII behind,  ✶・CAROLVS・D [G MAG BRI FR ET HIB] REX・

Rev: Shield over cross moline, [CHRISTO] AVSPICE・RE[GNO]

Diameter: 25.98mm, weight: 4.78g.
