Post-medieval coin: Halfgroat of James I
Description
English: A silver Halfgroat of James I; Second coinage; 1604-1619AD. The coin surfaces are worn and the coin has been deliberately bent twice in order to convert it into a 'love token'. It measures 16.5mm in diameter, 0.1mm thick and weighs 0.58g.
